  • At least 18 years old on election day
  • A Colorado resident for at least 22 days before the election
  • Registered at your Crested Butte address

I wanted to reach out because Crested Butte has a big decision on the November ballot: Ballot Measure 2A, a second-home tax that would change the town we both love.

I am opposed to this tax, and I hope you are too.

Voters already rejected this idea in 2021. The Town's own presentation shows spending going from $6.6 million in 2016 to $19.3 million in 2026 while the number of full-time residents stayed flat.
