Voters rejected this idea in 2021. Been there, done that. Town spending grew from $15.2 million in 2019 to $28.7 million in 2026 while the population stayed flat, and this tax covers a fraction of the gap. If spending and priorities stay on this path, full-time residents are next in line. We would rather live within the budget we have than draw lines between neighbors who love the same place.
